Our company started in 1986 and is now one of the largest privately owned truckload carrier in the province of Nova Scotia. Our development as a carrier was the result of a strategic combination of acquisitions and organic growth. This has allowed us to offer an interesting blend of truckload services across varied industries and demographics.

We have facilities in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario. We connect these domestic truckload markets daily and have extended our reach well into the USA. Chicago, Illinois; Houston, Texas; and Greenville, South Carolina are just a few of the many U.S. cities we serve on a regular basis.

Diversified truckload service is a GTL strength

Our cross border fleet is comprised of of dry vans and reefers for truckload activities connecting Canada and U.S. markets. We have a substantial chassis fleet that serves the drayage requirements to and from the Port of Halifax. We also manage dedicated fleets for contracted work with large retailers and government organizations alike.

Many carriers have moved away from the transport of hazardous materials, but at GTL, it is still a significant part of our truckload service offering.
